No. All guests are welcome. The hotel may occasionally offer stay packages or perks; check their website for details.

Yes. Entry is timed, and popular days may sell out. A limited number of same-day tickets may be available on site, but availability isn’t guaranteed.

Use the Manage Tickets link in your confirmation email to reschedule. You may make one change at no additional charge; however, all changes are subject to availability, and not all days/times may be available. We’re in the heart of Downtown Nashville on the third floor of Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, with a separate, dedicated entrance for Museum guests.

We don’t operate our own parking. Numerous public garages and parking lots are within a short walking distance.

Open daily (Mon–Sun) 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with select early-morning and evening hours on special dates. The ticketing page shows the most up-to-date availability.

Most guests will spend 60–90 minutes on a self-guided visit.

General admission is self-guided. Guided tours and group experiences may be added later—check our website for updates or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about additional experiences!

Small personal bags up to 14″ × 14″ × 6″ are permitted. Luggage and oversized items are not allowed. Please follow security screening and staff instructions.

Personal, non-flash photography is welcome in most galleries. No flash, tripods, selfie sticks, or professional photo/video gear. Some exhibits may be designated as no-photo zones; please respect the posted signs. For media inquiries, please contact us here.

No. Firearms, knives, and other weapons are prohibited except as required by law. Security screening may be in place.

Food and beverages are not permitted in galleries. Closed-top water bottles are allowed in designated areas only.

All public areas are wheelchair accessible. We offer a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis. For accommodation requests, please email help@dollyslifeofmanycolors.com at least 72 hours before your visit.

Yes—standard strollers are welcome. Oversized strollers and wagons are not permitted for safety and gallery protection.

Only trained service animals (as defined by the ADA) are permitted.

Ages 5 and under visit free when accompanied by a paid adult, and with a valid complimentary 5 and under ticket. Ages 6-12 are eligible for a discounted Youth ticket.

Yes. The Museum has retail shops on the 1st and 3rd floors. The 1st-floor shop is open to the public without a Museum ticket, while the 3rd-floor shop is located inside the Museum and requires admission.
